Augmented Intelligence and Interaction (AII) Workshop is the premier workshop in Taiwan that aims to bring together top experts in many sub-fields of AI, including machine learning (ML), computer vision (CV), natural language processing (NLP), reinforcement learning (RL), augmented/virtual reality (AR/VR), as well as autonomous machines. In this workshop, multidisciplinary experts from different domains will share their latest advances, and provide excellent opportunities for attendees to discuss, share ideas, and interact with each other.

Dr. Fei-Fei Li is an elected member of the National Academy of Engineering, National Academy of Medicine, and American Academy of Arts and Sciences. Her current research interests include cognitively inspired AI, machine learning, deep learning, computer vision and AI+healthcare especially ambient intelligent systems for healthcare delivery. Dr. Li is a world-leading AI scientist and the lead creator of ImageNet, a groundbreaking project that engendered the beginning of the recent AI Revolution using Deep Learning methods. She is an author of nearly 300 scientific papers. Dr. Li has recently served as one of the twelve members of the U.S. National AI Research Resource Task Force established by the Biden Administration.
Dr. Ming-Hsuan Yang is a research scientist at Google working on vision and learning problems. He is also a professor of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at University of California, Merced. He received best paper honorable mentions in ACM UIST 2017 and IEEE CVPR 2018. He is a recipient of the Faculty Early Career Development (CAREER) award from the National Science Foundation in 2012 and Google Faculty Award in 2009.

His research focuses on machine learning (especially deep learning), spoken language understanding, and speech recognition. He owns a YouTube channel teaching deep learning in Mandarin.
